Satans Affair Re-Read

I know this has been such a sore subject in the reading community as of late… however, we like what we like sooooo 🤷‍♀️

I am one of those readers who rarely remembers what has happened in a book after she has read it, especially when months have passed so ahead of the Haunting Adeline movie I decided to do a re-read of the series.

Starting off hot with Satan’s Aafair. This is book 0.5 in what is known as the Cat and Mouse duet.

On my first read of Satan’s Affair I read this after the duet which is not the recommended reading order, and I have to agree. I gave the book 3 stars on my first read and this has now been changed to 4 stars.

Satans Affair is a very short and snappy novella. The main character in this book is Sibby and I would say this is a get to know you type read, in which we learn all about Sibby’s past and why she is the way she is.

Sibby is an eccentric, crazy character (but don’t tell her I said that) she was extremely well written and definitely one of my favourite Dark Romance characters.

Satans Affair is part of a Dark Romance series, however this book could also be labelled as horror and is a great short read for this genre. 

Satans Affair follows Sibby and her Henchmen as they go from town to town with the haunted fair known as Satans Affair while Sibby sniffs the rot and eradicates the demons. 

This book has a few trigger warnings so it is definitely important for you to read and take these seriously.
