Today on my blog I am coming at you with another re read. Much to our demise December is fast approaching guys, and that can only mean one thing … the new housemaid film will be hitting our screens so obviously I needed to read it again.

I am terrible with remembering what I have read so although I knew some things that were coming round the corner a few things were still a bit of a shock to me.

The Housemaids secret is a great read albeit not as good as the first book, you expect to see some surprises round the corner after reading the first on the series and I guess also if your a frieda readah you also know that’s going to happen.

All that aside i still give this book 4 stars. Firstly we have a great strong female main character who is as kick ass as a rockstar.

The Housemaids Secret follows main character Millie as she joins a new household, not really sure why she was hired, but assuming the worst. In true Millie fashion she puts her self out there and gets terribly burnt. Has Millie met her match with her new wicked employer?

Wendy – the employer is a total bit*h and as much as I love me some Millie … Wendy was such an amazing character. She was well written, vibrant and just totally wicked to the core while on the surface being sweet and innocent. And what can I say I am all foe that.

Now, it wouldn’t be a frieda book would it if there wasn’t a few twisty shock moments so obviously along the path of Millie’s employment there is some bumps in the road.

This book was still a hit with me the second time around and I honestly can not wait for the film to be released.

Until next time…
