My Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Her many faces is a book that is written from many different POV’s. All of them talking to the main character Kate.
Kate is on trial for murder, and we hear the story of her life leading up to this point by many different people. The father. The school bestie. The ex. The reporter and the barrister.
I enjoyed reading this book. Kate, although we didn’t hear from her directly was an unstable and reckless albeit likeable main character regardless of if she was guilty or not.
Her Many Faces was a slow burn type of psychological thriller which is not my usual type of book, however it was incredibly captivating, and the ending of each chapter left me wanting to know more.
Many of the characters we heard from were equally as likeable, except the ex and the reporter for me. They were jack ass’s and just annoyed me.
Hearing the author was going to be attending Stockport Noir in January is what brought me to her book, and after reading i am most certainly looking forward to meeting her there.
